1992
Ace Transfer Company is Founded
Ace Transfer Company was founded by David Shaw with a simple goal: provide dependable custom apparel decorating and exceptional customer service. Operating from a small facility in Springfield, Ohio, the company quickly earned a reputation for quality screen printed transfers and reliable turnaround times.
1994
Growing Into a New Home
As demand increased, Ace moved into an 8,000-square-foot former schoolhouse, giving the company room to expand production, add equipment, and serve more customers throughout the Midwest.
Early 2000s
Expanding Production Capabilities
Throughout the early 2000s, Ace invested heavily in new printing technology, additional production equipment, and skilled team members, allowing the company to offer faster turnaround and greater production capacity.
2003
Moving to a Larger Facility
Continued growth led Ace to relocate to a significantly larger manufacturing facility in Springfield, Ohio. The expanded space supported additional production lines, larger inventory, and improved shipping operations.
2013
Ace Screen Supply Launches
To better serve professional screen printers, Ace Screen Supply was established. The new division supplied equipment, inks, supplies, and technical support to print shops across the country.
2015
Entering the DTG Market
Ace added Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing to provide full-color garment decoration for short runs, samples, and on-demand printing, expanding the company's decorating capabilities.
2018
Expanding West
Ace opened a second production and distribution location in Las Vegas, Nevada, allowing faster shipping to customers throughout the western United States while increasing overall production capacity.
2022
Investing in DTF Technology
Recognizing the future of garment decoration, Ace invested heavily in Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing technology. Multiple industrial DTF production lines were installed, making Ace one of the region's largest DTF transfer manufacturers.
2023
Launch of AceDTF.com
Ace introduced AceDTF.com, giving customers a modern online ordering platform for custom DTF transfers, gang sheets, equipment, supplies, and educational resources. The new website simplified ordering while expanding the company's reach nationwide.
2024
Continued Investment & Growth
Ace expanded production capacity with additional industrial DTF print lines, improved finishing equipment, and enhanced quality control systems. Investments in automation helped shorten turnaround times while maintaining exceptional print quality.
